We are only quietly celebrating ourselves, but everybody can be sure that if the year-end giant spin went down, we will be banging for the second birthday of Budapest Barbecue Company. In the meantime, if we look at our restaurant, we can only be proud of it and not only because we see the satisfied guests day by day, but also because we have deliberately built something that goes well beyond the concept of “just-a-restaurant”.
The community is formed from us, which in this case means not only colleagues, but also us, colleagues, friends, guests and all those who are committed to the barbecue genre. We are happy to start building a barbecue community in Hungary and we are happy to be an integral part of this.
Two years ago, the Budapest Barbecue Company opened its doors for the first time, and since then a lot has happened to us – it is said that one thing is constant and that is the change. We have set goals, realized ideas, we are constantly learning about ourselves, our profession and the barbecue. We are often unable to appreciate or just notice the positive things surrounding us every day, but we now want to talk about what makes our lives better in everyday life.

It was not easy and many times we are still struggling with the impossible situation caused by the lack of domestic labour, but we have now found the hard core we love and work with. Those who understand and cultivate the kind of hospitality we wanted to r create in Budapest Barbecue Company.
We started off with the best of our knowledge two years ago, and today we have developed a lot compared to that, and so our food has become more refined. We have developed our own recipes, developed our technique, constantly expanding our `toolbox` and we are not stopping! Quality is always our number one priority, as well as the fact that we always develop into something
We had to take a big breath to get out of our comfort zone and get in front of the “cameras”, but it was amazingly motivating to share our professional ideas with you, give back a little bit of what we learned about the barbecue. Not because we want to tell it all, rather, because we want to show how we do it – because there is no big secret, only our sincere passion for meat.
For the past two years, we have organized a professional workshop, a presentation about our recent US trip, our own YouTube channel, and of course the work is going on in the background and we are preparing for the 2018 events that you will soon learn more about!
It is good to meet new and well-known faces every day, and it is also good to see celebrities appear among our guests.
Budapest Barbecue Company is the largest barbecue restaurant in Budapest today. Among the walls we dreamed and realized, we can see full house at least 3 times a week. We love to see the big picture yet not forget about the tiny details. We continually tune in, develop, and shape according to the needs, and the mood – we think – speaks for itself.
